Clair Obscur Expedition 33: Quest Item Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide
In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, there are 18 Quest Items required for story progression, hidden side objectives, and unlocking the game’s deepest secrets. These items are distinct from standard consumables or materials as they are found in your Key Items inventory.
Many of these items are tied to the Nevron and Gestral requests, while others, such as the Old Key, are highly missable and necessary for achieving 100% completion (specifically for finding all Journal Entries).
The Old Key is the most critical item in the game. If you leave the Lumiere Festival without purchasing it from the merchant Collette, you will be permanently locked out of the Survivor Journal and cannot earn the Follow the Trail trophy without a New Game+ run.
The three Beast items (Light, Shape, Colour) are required for a major late-game puzzle in the Painting Workshop. Once you have all three, return to the central pedestal to unlock a secret encounter that rewards a Legendary Picto.
We also recommend not selling or discarding skins or crystals. While items like Bourgeon Skin drop from enemies, the first one you find should always be reserved for the corresponding Nevron quest. Completing all 10 Nevron requests rewards you with 100 Color of Lumina shards at the end of the game.
